Kite kit
Kite · Bar · Board · Harness · Helmet · Impact vest
In wind sports, rental is not just handing over gear: kite size, board volume and wetsuit choice depend on the day's wind and on the rider. At S-LOOP we prepare Duotone, ION and Fanatic equipment for autonomous riders and check level, conditions and material before the session.
Three complete sets, one per discipline, ready on the beach.
Kite · Bar · Board · Harness · Helmet · Impact vest
Wing · Board · Foil · Helmet · Impact vest
SUP · Paddle · Vest · Wetsuit
Full kit or single items, by hour or by day: choose the discipline.
ASD membership required (10€/year, third-party liability cover). Duotone, ION and Fanatic equipment.
Rental is for autonomous riders: people who can relaunch, ride upwind, return alone and manage self rescue. It is not a formality: there are other riders on the water, and when the wind increases, small mistakes become fast. This is what we check before handing over the equipment.
Required, 10€ per year. It includes third-party liability cover for your time on the water.
Water relaunch, upwind riding, return to shore and self rescue must already be part of your riding: rental is not a lesson.
A quick check before handover, so you go out with the right size and board for you and for the day.
Riding stays within a couple of kilometres from Le Saline, where we can keep an eye on you and reach you by boat if needed.
We go out only with suitable conditions. If there is no wind, or too much, the gear stays on the beach and the session moves.
The equipment is entrusted to you: damage from improper use remains your responsibility. Treat it as if it were yours.
Damage to rented equipment is your responsibility, but you can protect yourself. The VDWS Safety Tool is built for wind sports: it can cover rental equipment damage, third-party liability and personal injuries. You activate it online in a few minutes before going on the water.
On the same spot, two services can help your session. From June to November the boat lift takes you to the wind and brings you back at the end: useful when the wind starts far from shore or drops at the wrong moment. If your own equipment needs help, the workshop handles small repairs directly and sends bigger jobs to a specialised lab. Rates and details are in the services section.
Rental equipment is for riders who are already autonomous. If you start from zero or want to refine technique before riding alone, begin with a course.
