Founded in 2023 by Cristian Cancino, a veteran of water sports with over 15 years of experience, located at the picturesque Saline Beach, a short distance from the center of Olbia, our school aims to become a reference point for all water sports enthusiasts.
The unique conditions of the bay, mainly characterized by the thermal sirocco wind, create the ideal environment for practicing kitesurfing and other sailing sports.
As an official Duotone, ION and Fanatic partner school, we provide our students with access to the most modern and safest equipment available on the market. Our courses are structured to accommodate both beginners and experienced surfers, with personalized programs dedicated to kitesurfing, wing foiling, wing surfing and SUP.
Our team of qualified instructors is dedicated to sharing their passion and knowledge. Whether you are interested in a dedicated individual lesson or a shared learning path, we build the right program across kitesurfing, wing foiling, wing surfing and SUP. Cristian Jesùs Cancino Mondaca, founder of S-Loop school and veteran of water sports with over 15 years of experience demonstrating his dedication and love for Kitesurfing.

Lisa works as an instructor, water support, and coordinator within the S-LOOP team. Always smiling and energetic, she guides students with attention, empathy, and precision, helping them understand the basic concepts and turn them into their first water starts. During lessons she coordinates boat support and keeps the focus on safety, timing, and progression, with the family spirit that defines the school.

Noemi, a young kiter since 2023, began her adventure driven by the passion of her father Cristian, founder of S-Loop Kiteboarding School. Considered a future promise of kitesurfing, Noemi is actively preparing for competitive events. Proud of her progress, she dreams of excelling in competitions and becoming a champion. In the meantime, she enjoys every moment on the water, constantly learning new techniques and perfecting her style.

Saline Beach in Olbia is one of the most appreciated spots for sailing sports, offering ideal conditions for all levels of experience.
Its unique conformation and exposure to the winds make it one of the most versatile and appreciated spots in Sardinia.
The predominant wind is the Sirocco, a thermal wind that blows side-on, creating a perfect and safe environment for learning and improving techniques. The Grecale, also side-on but from the opposite side, offers equally favorable conditions, expanding the practice possibilities.
Experts can instead take advantage of the strong Mistral wind, which sweeps the beach in a side-off direction and requires more skill to handle, promising high-level performance.

S-Loop offers courses in kitesurfing, wing surfing, wing foiling and SUP suitable for all levels of experience. Our programs, conducted by qualified instructors, use modern and certified equipment to ensure safety and effective learning.
We offer individual lessons, kitesurf and wing groups up to 3 people, and SUP groups up to 5 people, customizable according to the student's needs and chosen discipline. For those aspiring to a career in the industry, we offer nationally recognized certification paths.

Where do kitesurfing lessons in Olbia take place?
S-LOOP lessons take place at Le Saline beach in Olbia, on Via Isola Padron Fiaso. The spot is close to Olbia city center, the airport, Murta Maria, Porto San Paolo and San Teodoro.
How much does a kitesurfing lesson in Olbia cost with S-LOOP?
The individual lesson costs 70 euro per hour. The group lesson costs 100 euro per hour and is organized with a maximum of 3 people, so each student receives concrete attention.
Are kitesurfing lessons suitable for beginners?
Yes. The courses are designed both for complete beginners and for riders who want to restart or improve their technique safely.
Can children and teenagers take part?
Yes, we also welcome children and teenagers. Minors need consent from a parent or guardian, and we assess age, body size, confidence in the water, weather conditions and session safety case by case.
What is included in a lesson?
The lesson includes instructor, technical equipment, helmet, harness, safety systems and gear suited to the student's level. We use Duotone, ION and Fanatic equipment, premium brands for kitesurfing, wing foiling and water safety.
What safety systems does S-LOOP use?
S-LOOP works with a support boat, safety corridor, professional radio helmets and complete safety equipment. The school maintains operational support communications with the Coast Guard as a local area referent.
Why is Le Saline a good spot for learning kitesurfing?
Le Saline offers side-on thermal Sirocco wind, usable Grecale wind and enough space to progress. Its position allows effective lessons for beginners and technical sessions for more independent riders.
Does S-LOOP also offer wing foil, wing surf, SUP and rental?
Yes. In addition to kitesurfing courses in Olbia, S-LOOP offers wing foil, wing surf, SUP lessons, equipment rental, upcoming group SUP courses and community events.
Can I rent kitesurfing or wing foil equipment?
Yes, rental is available for independent riders. Before delivery we check level and conditions: you must be able to manage the equipment safely, ride upwind and respect the allowed area.
Do you also offer repairs and boat lift service?
Yes. S-LOOP offers equipment repair and boat lift service around Le Saline and nearby areas, useful for reaching the right part of the spot or returning more comfortably.
What happens if the weather or wind is not ideal?
Before each lesson we assess wind, sea state and spot safety. If conditions are not suitable for learning effectively and safely, the lesson is rescheduled together with the student.

What is the best period for kitesurfing in Olbia?
The best season runs from spring to autumn, when thermal conditions and winds such as Sirocco and Grecale at Le Saline offer more useful days for lessons and practice.
What should I bring for a lesson?
Bring swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, water and dry clothes. Technical lesson equipment is included and is selected by the instructors according to level and conditions.
Do I need to know how to swim to start?
Yes, it is important to be comfortable in the water and know how to swim. Lessons follow a gradual progression and are held with constant attention to safety.
How many lessons does it take to start kitesurfing?
It depends on level, wind and consistency. Some students learn the basics in a few lessons, while riding independently requires a more complete path with progressive practice.
Can I book a lesson if I am on holiday in Olbia or San Teodoro?
Yes. The school is convenient for visitors staying in Olbia, Murta Maria, Porto San Paolo, San Teodoro and Costa Smeralda. Booking in advance helps secure the best slot according to the wind.
Where can I park to reach the school?
In front of the Le Saline beach access there is a large parking area. In summer, blue-line parking is paid from 8:00 to 20:00, with hourly or daily rates; there is also a nearby free dirt parking area.
