Intro guide

Kite

Born from the meeting of surfing and the kite, kitesurfing is one of the most popular wind sports in the world. It looks extreme from the beach, but the basics are more accessible than they seem: a trainer kite, a board, wind you can understand, and an instructor who keeps the progression simple. Our kitesurf lessons in Olbia are designed for complete beginners as well as riders who want to clean up technique and become more independent.

How you learn kitesurfing

The path is gradual. You start on land with the kite and the bar, learning the wind window and how to dose power. Then comes body drag, where you let the kite pull you through the water without the board and learn how to recover position and equipment. The water start is the turning point: board on your feet, kite moving with intention, first rides. After that we work on riding longer and going upwind, the skill that lets you return to your starting point. With the radio helmet, the instructor can correct you in real time throughout the lesson.
